现代教育的现代性表现在它的双重困境,其一是教育内容的抽象化与儿童心智的具象化之间的冲突。其二是教育形式的个性化与规模经济要求的标准化之间的冲突。
 
我们注重的,是具有全球意义的本土知识(We are looking for the local knowledge with global significance)
持续教育(continuing education)终身教育(life-time education)通才(liberal arts)
